Haroon Syed is vice president of sales and marketing for the Van Truckload division at Schneider, a premier provider of transportation, intermodal and logistics services. An executive with more than 22 years of supply chain experience, Haroon is responsible for driving business results through Schneider’s asset and non-asset capabilities, strategic planning and execution, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Haroon started his professional career at Schneider in 1993. Since then, he has held several leadership positions with increasing responsibility, including director of business development, national account manager and global business manager. His international experience with Schneider includes assignments in Mexico and Europe where he worked on special projects with global supply chain clients and implemented Schneider’s technology infrastructure.
Prior to joining Schneider, Haroon spent time in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai and Mumbai, India.
Haroon holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northern Michigan University. He currently resides in Green Bay, Wis., with his wife and three sons.
